Every loud noise, every bright light, and every unexpected change is a cup of water poured into that bucket. If you don't find a way to pour some out, eventually, it will overflow. For  Milo , high-stimulation days—like holiday parties, rainy days when we can’t go outside, or days with a substitute teacher—filled his bucket to the brim before lunch.
